Apple’s annual presentation is getting closer and more rumors and leaks are popping up every day. Today, a video from the famous insider John Prosser appeared on the YouTube-channel Front Page Tech. It show some details of the new iPhone 12 Pro Max. In the video, Prosser claims that he has already held a pre-sale copy of the flagship device in his hands. In addition, he has already managed to collect information that fans are interested in.
Leaked iPhone 12 Pro Max live video reveals its main features
One of the main topics of all iPhone 12 rumors has been the addition of a LiDAR sensor to the main camera layout. And Prosser confirms that the manufacturer will add it to some iPhone 12 models.
Also, the insider provided more information about the possible support for the displays of the new iPhones at a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In the video, you can again see a screenshot of the screen with the settings menu open. There, the option to “enable high refresh rate” or “enable adaptive refresh rate” is marked. Some publications suggest that the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max will have 120Hz displays, while the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Plus will have conventional 60Hz displays.
The video contains a large number of images of the iPhone 12, especially its display. Apparently, the rumors that the notches will decrease turned out to be false – the cutout size is the same as on its predecessor.
Improvements will also affect Face ID – apparently, it will work even faster and become even more secure.
As always, all this should be taken as rumors, but the video looks too believable.
