Realme celebrated its second anniversary as one of the most popular and relevant smartphone makers in the world. So far, the company has been releasing phones almost in a monthly schedule. September will not be an exception, as the month’s doors will be opened by a new Realme X7 family. The upcoming smartphone series has been stealing the headlines for the past few weeks, and as far as we know, there are at least three smartphones coming. A vanilla Realme X7, featuring a bold “DARE TO LEAP” logo on the back, a Realme X7 Pro and potentially a third “Special Version” that will debut the unreleased Snapdragon 860 SoC.
Interestingly enough, the Pro variant sits as the middle-offering of the family. So far, it has been the most widely-leaked of the three smartphones. Today’s development won’t be an exception as it once again comes to show the Realme X7 Pro. The device will be released only on September 1. However, this couldn’t prevent an offline store in China to leave the unreleased device in public for anyone wishing to take a shot of the retail box. We can see the big X7 wording above the “Pro” suffix and the Realme’s logo at the bottom part. The leak comes with some of the preliminary specifications of the information as well as pricing details.

Realme X7 Pro alleged pecifications
Under the hood, the Realme X7 Pro will carry MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ chipset one of the best chipsets released by the Taiwanese firm to the date. It brings seamless 5G connectivity and is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage. We believe that more RAM / Storage variants will eventually come. These specifications are built around a 6.55-inch OLED panel with 120Hz and FHD+ resolution. On the camera department, we’ll have a 64MP Sony IMX686 main camera with an 8MP secondary one plus two unspecified sensors. The phone draws power from a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging capabilities. Apparently, Realme is borrowing the charging tech of its sister-company Oppo. The device is said to come with a total body weight of 184g. Reports state that the device comes with a plastic build in order to achieve this weight, however, we still need to wait for confirmation.
The handset leaked price states that users will need to pay at least $335 for this variant with 6GB/128GB. This is not bad pricing for all the specifications listed above. Of course, this price is for the Chinese market. Once the device gets a Global release we can expect some price variation.
