Amazfit Band 5

Previously, the Amazfit Band 5 was first spotted on the FCC database; and since then their arent any further developments regarding the details of the device. While it was reported to be a rebranded version of the Mi Band 5; now it turns out that, it would be a kind of upgraded version of it. The Amazfit Band 5 is now available to pre-order from Amazon US and will available to purchase from September 30. Some of its key features include support for Amazon Alexa, blood oxygen or SpO2 monitoring and women health features. To clarify, the Mi Band 5 missed Alexa & blood oxygen features but looks like Amazfit Band 5 will pack in both of them.

Amazfit Band 5 Features

Speaking of the design and build, the Amazfit Band 5 measures 7.52 x 2.99 x 0.91 inches. There is an HD colour AMOLED panel with over 45+ different watch faces alongside two 2 customizable faces. Moving on to fitness, there is a PAI health tool and 11 sports modes for various activities. Users can track their sleep for a daily nap, REM, deep and light sleep to measure sleep quality.

Similar to the Mi Band 5, the Amazfit Band 5 has a magnetic charging facility. Tracking

The stress, breathing, heart rate and swim tracking will also be part of the band’s fitness tracking capabilities. Apart from that, the Band 5 will feature Always-on Display, Camera Remote Control, Music Control, Notifications & Reminder features while being 5 ATM water-resistant and offering Black & Orange colour options.

As of now, The Band 5 will start shipping by the end of September and has been priced at$49.99. While there is no mention of NFC function for the global version, it may be limited to China as usual. If this information turns out to be true, and the Amazfit fitness tracker comes with all these features, then it will surely grab the attention of the users over the Mi Smart Band 5, which lacks in Alexa & blood oxygen features. Recently, we did also observe the Amazfit Band 6 appearing on FCC site; and leaked on the retailer’s site, so we have to see when it will available in the market.
