POCO X3 NFC Unboxing and Variants Exposed

POCO x3

POCO X3 NFC is an upcoming mid-ranger from POCO. What’s special? Well, the POCO X3 is ironically the second original phone after POCO F1. The POCO X2 was launched a couple of months earlier in India, and it was a re-branded Redmi K30. But thankfully, POCO has listened and the POCO X3 NFC is launching of September 7th. I am one of those who cannot wait especially for a POCO new phone. Thankfully, a YouTuber posted an unboxing of POCO X3 before its launch. The video was taken down, but we have the images. Let’s take a look at the POCO X3 NFC Unboxing for the first time.

The POCO X3 NFC comes with a yellow box, following the brand’s color schemes. It is having a POCO X3 NFC slogan which will mean a lot for the global markets where NFC is a necessity. Coming to the box accessories, we will get a silicon cover. Unfortunately, the power rating for the POCO X3 NFC adapter wasn’t exposed. I hope it is a 33W charger.

Moving to the device itself, there is a blend of new and POCO F2 Pro’s design. The camera module isn’t a typical one, it is hard for me to digest especially the bump. You will get a big POCO brand at the bottom which reminds me of Realme X7 Pro. The color here is blue and it looks fine. If you ask for my opinion on the POCO X3 NFC design, I would choose POCO F1’s original design over the new X3 NFC design any day.

Coming to the device, it is confirmed that it will be using a hybrid sim slot solution. Next, we have is the display. And we are getting a dot-notch display, which is taken from Samsung Galaxy devices. It was also implemented on Redmi Note 9 series. It is better than a dual punch hole or a traditional teardrop notch.

We were already expecting a higher refresh rate and the video screenshots prove it. There will be 2 modes for the display. You can switch in between 60Hz and 120Hz mode. For the people who want more battery juice, then switching back to 60Hz is an option, folks!

The user also goes into the camera app and a 64-megapixel mode is exposed. The 64-megapixel main sensor was confirmed by POCO itself. The real question is whether its a Samsung sensor or a Sony one. Since Realme has been marketing its new Realme 7 series for its Sony 64-megapixel sensor.

These were all the screenshots of the video, and it pretty much summarized the device. We will be getting Snapdragon 732G SoC, 5160mAH battery, 33W fast charging, and 120Hz refresh rate. They are decent specs however not even close to a Nord killer. If POCO is successful in pricing this device aggressively than it will be a good competitor to Realme 7 Pro. However, the Realme 7 Pro will take an edge with its AMOLED display and POCO needs to focus on that.

Coming to other news which is regarding POCO X3 NFC’s variants and color option. According to the report by TechBoiler, the POCO X3 NFC will have 2 storage variants. You can either choose between the 64GB variant or the 128GB variant. The device doesn’t come with a dedicated sim slot solution, hence chose the variant wisely! Lastly, there are two color options including Blue and Grey. We got a glimpse of the blue version in the video, lets see how the grey version will look.
