Last week, Realme smartphones, codenamed RMX2173 and RMX2117, surfaced on the Chinese regulator’s TENAA database with preliminary specifications. The RMX2173 page has been updated today, adding images and additional technical specifications.
The upcoming Realme X7 Lite smartphone appears on the TENAA database
Tech publications have already suggested that the RMX2173 number indicated that a new variant of the recently unveiled Realme X7 smartphone, which has the model number RMX2176, could await us. Now that the TENAA Realme RMX2173 page has been updated, tech insiders are confident that we will have a budget version of the Realme X7. Moreover, some publications have already pointed to the Realme X7 Youth or Realme X7 Lite.
Both smartphones share the same specs and design, and the only noticeable difference is that the Realme RMX2173 has lower-end cameras.
The Realme RMX2173 is equipped with a main unit of four sensors. A 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel wide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens and an additional 2-megapixel depth-of-field sensor. The rest of the specs of the Realme RMX2173 are identical to the Realme X7.
