Earlier this month, Samsung launched its next-gen wearable Galaxy Fit 2 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 2. As the name suggests, the second iteration of the fitness tracker brings a larger display and a significantly improved battery life. At the time of the reveal, the company didn’t really talk about the price or availability. Well, that changes now. The all-new Galaxy Fit 2 is now up for pre-orders in the UK region.

The fitness wearable comes with a price tag of EUR 49 (i.e. $62). The wearable also comes in two color options namely Black and Scarlet. While the pre-booking is now live, the shipment of the orders will commence from October 1. It is also worth noting that Samsung is offering either an Xbox game pack or Galaxy Fit 2 with its newly launched Galaxy S20 FE. This deal is only for those who will pre-book the device.

With the fitness band now up for grabs in the UK, we should see the wearable making its way to more countries or regions soon.

Using Fit 2, users can control music playback, see notifications, and even quick reply to the messages. Since we’re looking at the fitness band, the wearable supports five types of workout namely running, walking, dynamic workout, elliptical trainer, and rowing. You can measure your heart rate thanks to optical heart rate monitor and of course, sleep tracking is a part as well.

All of these are backed by a 159 mAh battery packed inside. The key highlight of the second iteration is the improvement in battery life. According to the brand, the band can last you for at least 15 days on a single charger. It can even last up to 3 weeks or 21 days depending on your usage. The original Galaxy Fit, on the other hand, lasts up to 10 days on a single charge.
