Verizon’s LG Wing pre-orders to kickstart on October 1, priced at $999.99

Earlier this month, LG announced its much-awaited smartphone with swiveling displays dubbed LG Wing. With the new device, the company brings back the swiveling concept to smartphones from the feature phones. Furthermore, it also redefines how we can use the secondary display. After two straight weeks of no update, the device will finally see the pre-booking kickstarting on October 1. The pre-order information is coming from Verizon carrier. As expected, we now have the pricing information as well.

The all-new LG Wing will now be up for grabs via Verizon’s Bid Red from October 1 i.e. tomorrow. The all-new two-screen smartphone will arrive with a price tag of $999.99. It is worth noting that the actual pricing lines up with the previous leak. As expected, there are few offers that Verizon will be offering.

Interested pre-bookers can go with 24 monthly installments, allowing you to pay $41.66 per month. If you add a line, you can get up to $750 off on select Unlimited plans while also using a trade-in eligible device. If you port-in your number to the carrier and buy LG Wing, you will receive up to a $250 Verizon gift card. Lastly, Verizon is also offering up to $500 off when existing customer purchases the Wing smartphone with a trade-in feature. It is worth noting that the last offer is when you go with select Unlimited plans.

With Verizon kicking off the pre-booking, we’re expecting more carriers to follow the suit soon. Furthermore, the pre-booking of LG Wing should also reach more regions in the coming weeks. Whenever any of the things happen, we will make sure to keep our readers updated.

Specs, features

To recall, LG Wing is equipped with a 6.8-inch AMOLED primary display with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. The device also has a smaller 3.9-inch secondary panel with a 1080 x 1240 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device runs on Snapdragon 765G chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. For optics, there is a  triple rear camera module featuring a 64MP primary sensor, 13MP ultrawide lens, and another 132MP ultrawide shooter for swivel mode.

For selfies and video calling, there is a single 32MP front shooter with a pop-up mechanism. All of these are backed by a 4,000 mAh battery packed inside. The device runs on the latest Android 10 operating system as well.
