Vivo X50e launched with Snapdragon 765G and AMOLED screen

Vivo continues to expand the X range with the Vivo X50e. It received mid-range hardware and did not offer a fancy camera similar to the one found in the Vivo X50 Pro. The new product has nothing to surprise and this is not the most successful addition with a high price into a niche where there are many competitors.

The smartphone has a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a built-in fingerprint sensor. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera is also included in the drop-shaped notch.

Vivo X50e is based on the Snapdragon 765G chipset in conjunction with 8 GB of RAM. There is a flash drive with a capacity of 128 GB, a 4350 mAh battery, 33-watt fast charging and an Android 10 operating system with FunTouchOS 10 user interface. The main camera system includes four sensors, where the main one is 48 megapixels. Alongside it, there is a 13MP wide-angle sensor, a telephoto lens with the same resolution and an 8MP portrait lens.

The dimensions of the Vivo X50e were 162.05×74.97×8.8 mm with a weight of 200 grams. There is a USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm headphone jack and an NFC module. The first country where the smartphone is available for purchase is Taiwan and there they ask for $ 483 for it.

Vivo V20 series – Two mysterious smartphones pass through TENAA

A couple of days ago, Vivo unveiled the Vivo V20 series in the form of a vanilla Vivo V20, a V20 Pro, and a Vivo V20 SE. Now, according to a recent listing from Chinese regulatory authority – TENAA – the company may be preparing two new smartphones to reveal for this lineup. While the moniker isn’t confirmed right now. They seem to belong to the Vivo V20 series due to the V2031A and V2034A model number.

Gizchina News of the week

Vivo V2031A early specifications

This model flaunts a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. That is the same size and resolution found on the Vivo V20 Pro and V20 SE. However, the device has a less appealing camera sensor, which suggests that this is a low-end version. It could come with the Vivo V20 Lite marketing name. The device brings a triple-rear camera setup comprising a main 48MP shooter, 8MP secondary, and a 2MP helper. Interestingly enough, this setup seems to be on par with that offered by the V20 SE. The position of the LED flash, however, is different. Moreover, while the Vivo V20 SE brings a 32MP selfie snapper, this phone has a 16MP selfie shooter.

Under the hood, the phone has an Octa-Core chipset with a 2.0GHz frequency. Worth noting that this is a 5G chipset, although at the moment is not possible to determine its identity. The phone will come in two distinct flavors with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, but storage will be limited to 128GB. You can expand it since the device comes with a MicroSD slot. This model draws power from a 4,020mAh battery with 18W fast-charging.

Vivo V2034A early specifications

The second model bears the V2034A model number and despite the higher number, seems to be a low-end version. It comes with a 4G chipset and flaunts a 6.52-inch display with HD+ resolution. It still is an AMOLED panel though. On the rear, we have a very basic triple-camera setup with a 13MP main, and two 2MP units probably for macro and depth reading. The selfie camera is an 8MP unit.

The phone has an Octa-Core chipset with 2.0GHz and will be available in three RAM configurations – 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB. Storage-wise, users will opt between 64GB or 128GB of Storage.
