Apple is already scheduled to hold its second autumn special event at 1:00 AM on October 14th in China. The theme is “Hi, Speed”. There are expectations that the company will launch the iPhone 12 series and other products at this event. A recent leak now reveals a whole lot about the iPhone 12 series. We already know about the specs of these devices thus we are talking about something else. The leak reveals the prices, colour options, pre-sale dates.

Apple iPhone 12 series price and colour
- Apple iPhone 12 Mini (5.4 inches) – starts at $699 (consistent with iPhone 11, no price increase), 64G/128G/256G, colours are black, white, red, blue, and green
- iPhone 12 (6.1 inches) – starts at $799, 64G/128G/256G, colours are black, white, red, blue, and green
- iPhone 12 Pro (6.1 inches) – starts at $999, 128G/256G/512G, the colours are gold, silver, graphite, blue
- Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7 inches) – starts at $1,099, 128G/256G/512G, colours are gold, silver, graphite, and blue.

- Pre-sale date for iPhone 12 Mini (5.4 inches) is November 6/7
- Release date for iPhone 12 Mini (5.4 inches) is November 13/14.
- Pre-sale date for iPhone 12 (6.1 inches) is October 16/17
- Release date for iPhone 12 (6.1 inches) is October 23/24.

All four iPhone 12 models support 5G, however, only the U.S. model support millimeter wave. In addition, none of these smartphones will come with earphones and chargers. The four screens are all Super Retina XDR Display. Furthermore, they use a new screen technology, Ceramic Shield Front Cover. It has a ceramic substrate glass, which increases the hardness and resistance to drop.
In terms of photography, both the iPhone 12 Mini (5.4 inches) and iPhone 12 (6.1 inches) will use a dual-camera setup. They will also support Deep Fusion and Night Scene mode. For the Pro models, they will use a triple rear camera setup (wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle, telephoto) + LiDAR. It also uses the new 7P lens, ƒ/1.6, 52mm focal length telephoto. The biggest difference between the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the 12 Pro is that the 12 Pro Max has a larger sensor.
At the iPhone 12 series launch event, Apple will also release other products. We will see the Apple HomePod Mini with a $99 price tag. The company will also release a 3.3-inch speaker as well as a S5 processor.
