According to reports, this launch event will be Huawei’s most powerful Mate launch conference in its history. Since this conference is going to be massive, then the Mate 40 series will not be alone. Obviously, one of the products that we expect to accompany the Huawei Mate 40 series is the Kirin 9000 chip. Huawei will also focus on releasing its Kirin 9000 chip, which is also the first 5nm SoC 5G chip. The Mate 40 series will use this chip. However, these smartphones and the Kirin 9000 SoC will not be the only Huawei products at the conference.

According to reports, the Huawei Mate 40 will come with a 6.67-inch curved LG screen. This display will have a 90Hz refresh rate. In terms of cameras, there is a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. The phone also has a laser autofocus module.
There will also be a Mate 40 Pro/Mate 40 Pro+ which should use a waterfall screen from LG Display and BOE. Just like the standard version, it also supports a 90Hz refresh rate and uses a Kirin 9000 processor. In terms of cameras, It will arrive with a 50MP sensor using Huawei’s liquid camera technology. Earlier reports believed that this feature will not appear until the Huawei P50 arrives next year. However, there may not launch a P50 series.
In terms of software, the Mate 40 Pro will be pre-installed with EMUI 11 based on Android 11 and HMS. However, the Huawei Mate 40 will come with an EMUI 10.x system. The battery capacity of the Mate 40 series is 4300 mAh, 4600 mAh, and 5000 mAh. They are applicable to Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro+ respectively. The battery will support 66W fast charging in one of the phones at least.
