OnePlus will officially release the OnePlus 8T later today and as we know, this smartphone will not be alone. The company will also launch its new headset, OnePlus Buds Z. Nevertheless, a few hours to the launch of this device, a new leak reveals a couple of specs of this device. According to popular Twitter leakster, @stufflistings, the OnePlus Buds Z will arrive with Qualcomm’s Quick Pair as well as the latest Bluetooth 5.0.
That not all, this headset will also feature a 3D stereo audio powered by Dolby Atmos. In terms of performance, the leak claims that this device will offer 20 hours of playback on a full charge. However, if you charge this device for only 10 minutes, you can get a 3 hour playback time. This is quite massive and this device can only achieve this with fast charging support.
Furthermore, Mukul Sharma claims that the OnePlus Buds Z will have a special edition. This edition will be from Californian based contemporary artist, Steven Harrington. Also, it is already public knowledge that this device will come with 10mm drivers.
Gizchina News of the week
According to our previous report, the OnePlus Buds Z will come with IP55 dust/water resistance. In addition, the new earplugs will be lighter and will bring an “immersive audio experience”. Comparing this device to the OnePlus Buds, the “Z” model is always cheaper. Although the specifications of OnePlus Buds Z are not yet clear, it is not difficult to imagine that the configuration will shrink accordingly. Of course, the Dolby Atmos 3D Stereo Audio and Qualcomm Quick Pair will improve the performance of this device. Nevertheless, we will have to wait for the official launch of this device to know more.
