Oppo has now added a new product dubbed Oppo A15 to its Indian portfolio. It is an entry-level smartphone that aims to target those who are looking for a budget device but with a sleek and slim form factor. It comes with features such as an Helio P35 chipset, triple-camera array, and 4,230 mAh battery capacity. Here is everything you need to know about the new budget smartphone from the Chinese maker.
Oppo A15: Price in India, Availability
Oppo A15 comes in a single storage configuration featuring a small 32GB built-in storage and 3GB RAM. The device comes in two color options namely Dynamic Black and Mystery Blue and is up for grabs at a price tag of INR 10,990 (i.e. $150). It will be available for purchase exclusively via Amazon India. Sadly, there is no concrete timeline for the sale but the company did mention that the sale will commence in the coming days. Considering the ongoing festive sale in the country, we are expecting the device to be available either by the end of this week or early next week.

Coming to the hardware, Oppo A15 is equipped with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD panel having a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. Thanks to slim bezels and waterdrop notch, the device boasts a screen-to-body-ratio of 89%. Under the hood, the device runs on octa-core Helio P35 SoC paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. The onboard storage is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB so that’s something you can make use of.
For optics, there is a triple camera array housed inside a square module accompanied by an LED flash. The setup consists of a primary 13MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens for close-up shots. There is a single 5MP front snapper taking care of all your selfie and video calling needs. You can also find a physical fingerprint sensor on the back.
All of these get it to power from a 4,230 mAh battery packed inside. Sadly, there is no information on the charging capabilities of the device. We’re expecting it to be the standard 10W. On the software front, Oppo A15 makes use of the Android 10 operating system with ColorOS 7.2 skin on top.
