Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 GPS has finally launched in India with Snapdragon Wear 4100 and Wear OS. Earlier, Mobvoi’s new smartwatch was launched in the US and UK on 25th September 2020. TicWatch Pro 3 GPS is the first Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC powered smartwatch that runs on Google’s Wear OS.  The Snapdragon Wear 4100 includes Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 5.0. The new chipset increases the CPU performance by 85%, and GPU performance by 150%. And it reduces power consumption by around 25% as we compared it to the previous-gen Snapdragon 3100 chip.

Mobvoi’s latest offering packs a dual-display technology to increase battery life in Essential Mode. It features a 1.4-inch Retina AMOLED display with a 454×454 pixel resolution. On top of the primary display, there is a low power consuming display that comes with an always-on feature and it refreshes every second. The new smartwatch has a 595 mAh battery that gives the backup of up to 72 hours in Smart Mode and up to 45 days in Essential Mode.

TicWatch Pro 3 GPS watch runs on WearOS while carrying 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Talking about the design of Mobvoi’s new smartwatch, it is a classic round dial smartwatch with stainless steel and plastic featuring a silicone strap. Mobvoi’s new smartwatch comes with only one Shadow color option. The watch is IP68 dust and water resistance certified. In connectivity options, the new Ticwatch includes inbuilt GPS tracking, NFC to make payments with Google Pay, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS, and Wi-Fi.

Talking about sensors, it includes Heart Rate Sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and barometer. Mobvoi’s new smartwatch hosts new Tic apps including TicZen, TicBreathe, TicOxygen, TicHealth, TicMotion, TicExcersie, and TicSleep apps.

The Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 GPS will be available from 20th October 2020 via Amazon India at a launch price of Rs 27,999 (~$381).
