Gizchina News of the week

It is still too early for the release of the OnePlus 9 series. But we understand that this handset will come one day. If you are not aware, OnePlus is one of those rare companies that release one series of flagship smartphones in the first half of the year and another line in the second half. Say, the original OnePLus 8 was announced in early 2020. And the OnePlus 8T was out just recently. In this regard, there is nothing strange with the news about the OnePlus 9. Moreover, Max J calls it ‘series’. So you can at least look forward to the launch of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro models.

OnePlus 9 Rumored Features

As a flagship product series, the OnePlus 9 line will definitely sport the next-generation Snapdragon 8 series flagship SoC (probably the Snapdragon 875). Moreover, we think all of its upcoming flagship smartphones will adopt a refresh rate of at least 120Hz. At the same time, the major smartphone manufacturers are in a race for the title of the fastest charging technology. In this sense, OnePlus can’t fall behind of its rivals. And we guess, the charging power of the OnePlus 9 will be at least 65W.

Another interesting thing, OnePlus phones have been always focusing on photography. And the upcoming OnePlus 9 shouldn’t be an exception. As the tipster guesses, it will be powered by a 64-megapixel CMOS.

Well, there is not much information about this handset. And it’s logical because we are waiting for it to hit the market in April 2021.
