Huawei Mate 40 Pro/Pro+ official renders’ leak confirms 5 color variants


Huawei Mate 40 Series again leaks in new renders while flooring some important details just before the launch. According to the renders, Huawei Mate 40 Pro comes in 5 different color options i.e.  Light Blue, White, Black, Grey, and Orange colors. However, its big brother Mate 40 Pro+ has two color options i.e. Black, and a White. The official renders are posted by Evan Blass on Twitter (popular leakster) a couple of hours before its official annoucnement. Huawei is launching its flagship Mate 40 series in China on 22nd October, 2020.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro was recently spotted on Amazon Germany website with price and some other key specs. The Mate 40 Pro was listed for EUR 1,199 (~$1406) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The listing carried Mate 30 Pro photo, so there could be anomaly or difference in terms of specs. However, the listings is no more visible on the Amazon’s Germany website.

Mate 40 Pro Specs (Expected)

According to the previous leaks, Mate 40 Pro will have a 6.76-inch OLED dual punch hole display with 2772 x 1344 pixel resolution and 456ppi.  It powers with an octa-core Kirin 9000 SoC built on 5nm chip with 2.54GHz clocking speed and Mali-G78 GPU onboard. Mate 40 Pro will have 8GB RAM + 256GB (UFS 3.1) variant in Europe while in China it will come with 12GB of RAM. The phone has a  triple camera setup at the back that include a 50MP primary camera, a 20MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto zoom camera, and a laser focus camera. On the front side, the phone has a 13MP primary camera along with 3D ToF. Mate 40 Pro will have a 4400 mAh battery with 65W fast charging and runs on EMUI 11 based on Android 10 out of the box.  

Pro+ Specs (Expected) 

Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ could come with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It will features a 6.76-inch display with 90 Hz refresh rate while encasing incsreenfingerprint sensor. It will run on 5nm based Kirin 9000 chipset as like the other devices in this series. There’s will be a 4400 mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging and 50 W wireless charging.

In camera, there;s a dual 13MP + 3D ToF sensor on the front and a quad-rear camera with 50MP + 20MP + 8MP +8MP + 3D ToF sensors is present.
