Last month, Samsung launched its much-awaited Galaxy S20 FE (or Fan Edition) that aims to bring flagship-grade hardware at a less ‘flagshipy’ price. Since its official launch, the device has managed to become a value for money option for those who’re planning to switch towards a premium Galaxy device without shelling out massive bucks. Of course, the smartphone maker has made various decisions in order to cut back the price. For instance, the Galaxy S20 FE comes with a plastic back and includes a 15W charger even though it has faster 25W charging capabilities.

Well, Samsung has made its Galaxy S20 FE smartphone even more affordable in the Indian market. While the device was launched with a price tag of INR 49,999 (i.e. $677), it is now up for grabs at INR 44,999 (i.e. $610). Not only this, all the launch offers are still applicable to the smartphone even after a price drop. It is worth noting that we’re not looking at a permanent price cut. Instead, these new offers are a part of the company’s festive sale and will remain the same till November 17.

For those who’re unaware, the Galaxy S20 FE comes in two storage configurations – 128GB and 256GB options. The 256GB memory variant is now down from the original price of INR 53,999 (i.e. $732) to INR 48,999 (i.e. $664). Coming to other offers, we’re looking at an instant INR 4,000 cashback on HDFC Bank Credit and Debit EMI. You can also avail of an INR 3,000 off as a part of the 20K Advantage program on Samsung Shop. All these combined will bring the effective price of the smartphone to INR 38,999 ($528).
To recall, the Galaxy S20+ also was up for grabs for a solid discounted price of INR 49,999 ($677) at Flipkart Big Billion Sale. Furthermore, Samsung was offering its Galaxy Forever service. With Galaxy Forever, consumers were able to get the device for just INR 35,000. Of course, there’s a catch, You have to pay the remaining amount after a year. In fact, you can still get the smartphone at a discounted price at the Samsung online store.
Considering that in mind, Samsung had to lower the price tag of its newly launched Galaxy S20 FE smartphone. At this price tag, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE makes a solid option in India thanks to the newly aggressive pricing. It would be interesting to see how well the smartphone will end up performing in the country.
