Galaxy Z Fold2

For Samsung, releasing special edition or limited edition phones isn’t something new. When it comes to the Galaxy Z Fold2, which already is a very special smartphone, things tend to be even more interesting. The company already has the Thom Browne Galaxy Z Fold2 made in collaboration with the New York0-based Fashin house. Now, the company is introducing a new special variant of its foldable device. However, rather than a fashion house, the company will be collaborating with a very popular automobile company. Samsung and Aston Martin are now partnering for a Galaxy Z Fold2 Aston Martin edition. There’s just a small detail about this new version – It will be limited to the Chinese market. We got a set of leaked images today. The images come from the very reliable Samsung leakster IceUniverse.

Gizchina News of the week

The new Phone will come in a large gray box. It’s not a surprise to see a very special retail package coming with a special edition phone. On top of the box, we have the Fold 2 5G logo and Galaxy Watch3. This basically means that this limited edition unit does not come with a pair of the Galaxy Buds Live, just like the Thom Browne Edition does. Interestingly enough, the box has Tmall written at the bottom. it means that the new phone will be sold exclusively by the retail giant. For now, the phone is yet to appear in the Chinese popular store.

Galaxy Z Fold2 Aston Martin does not come with a fancy design

Inside the box, there is a Galaxy Z Fold 2 on its Mystic Black colorway without any kind of fancy design. It just brings the Aston Martin Logo. However, you’ll be glad to know that there is an orange leather Aston Martin case included in the bundle. Moreover, you’ll get an Aston Marting polo shirt in navy blue, a black and white baseball hat, and a Mystic Black Galaxy Watch3 included in the package. While the company is yet to confirm the arrival of the handset, we don’t expect it to take much longer to happen. It may also be cheaper than the luxury Thom Browne Edition of the foldable phone.

We’ll have the same Snapdragon 865+ chipset which means 5G connectivity. The device flaunts a 7.6-inch OLED display (6.23-inch Super AMOLED cover display), up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. Moreover, we’ll have Android 10 with One UI, Triple-Camera combo with 12MP shooters, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast-charging. The device should cost way more than the vanilla edition, after all, it includes a Galaxy Watch3 and a set of exclusive accessories.
