Xiaomi has finally announced the release of a new Xiaomi Wear 2.0 update for its wearable companion application. The new update brings a new avatar that shows your status in realtime. Moreover, the update now allows users to independently initiate sports in the app anytime and anywhere. Moreover, the application now comes with professional data management. It shows immediate fitness data viewing on the starting screen. For now, the update is reaching only Android users. However, the company will also roll out the update for iOS in the coming weeks.
An interesting addition is that now users can directly start an exercise using the app. You no longer will need to bind your device to it. This particular feature supports the following exercises; outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor walking, and outdoor cycling. Worth noting that the new 2.0 update introduces a new home page that doubles as the status page. Important information like Steps, Calories, Exercise records and sleep can all be viewed immediately on the home page. Moreover, new data source features have been added. As a result, users will be able to quickly switch and view data from multiple devices.
