iPhone 12 mini and 12 Pro Max are available for pre-order ahead of schedule

According to the previously released plan, Apple will begin accepting orders for the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max this week, November 6, but long-time earlier, users of the company’s devices have already been able to pre-order.

Various sources report that Apple has opened up iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max reservations in advance for some Apple Care + users. This means that these users will be among the first to get the new smartphones.

According to the resource Mydrivers, both existing and new subscribers of the Apple Care + extended warranty program can use the service of early booking of the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Last week, Romanian Youtuber George Buhnici already received an iPhone 12 mini and posted a long video in which he talked about the smartphone and compared it to the iPhone 12.

The 12 mini in the US will cost about $700; and for the iPhone 12 Pro Max they will ask about $ 1,100.

Despite the fact that all four models of the iPhone 12 were presented at the same time, the compact model of the 12 Mini has not yet fallen into the hands of reviewers, which means that its dimensions could only be estimated “on paper”. However, now a video has appeared on YouTube (and was suddenly removed) in which Yutuber George Buhnici demonstrated the smartphone.

Screenshots and a fragment of the recording have been saved on the Web, where the Youtuber compares the dimensions of the device with the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro Max. And I must say, the difference is really impressive. Next to the bigger model, the Mini with its 5.4″ screen looks really tiny.

• iPhone 12 – 2851 mAh
• iPhone-12 Pro – 2815 mAh
• iPhone 12 Pro Max – 3687 mAh

In the case of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Max, we are dealing with a downgrade. For comparison, the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Max had 3,110mAh and 3,969mAh batteries, respectively. It seems that in terms of autonomy, Apple made a bet on the energy efficiency of the 5nm A14 Bionic chip.

If we talk about the amount of RAM, then the alignment of forces is as follows:

• iPhone 12 mini – 4 GB
• iPhone 12 — 4 GB
• iPhone-12 Pro — 6 GB
• iPhone 12 Pro Max — 6 GB.

It turns out that the two younger iPhone 12 models received the same amount of RAM as the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. But the bigger models have now 6 GB. And let’s be objective that that much RAM is enough for the vast majority of tasks.
