OPPO K7x with a 90Hz screen & 5000mAh battery is official


Today, Chinese manufacturer, Oppo, released the Oppo K7x which has been on the news for the past few weeks. The major highlights of this device include the 30W VOOC flash charging, 5000mAh large battery, and 90Hz refresh rate. According to the company, the launch price of this smartphone is 1499 yuan ($228). As this is the Chinese sale season, this smartphone already has a discount. You can pre-order this device with a 100 yuan ($15) price cut which takes the price to 1399 yuan ($208). This device is available in Mirror Black and Shadow Blue colour options and has 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

OPPO K7x uses a 5000mAh large-capacity battery, which is the largest battery in the history of the OPPO K series. Officially, this smartphone can watch online videos for 16.1 hours, play “Honor of the King” for 8.4 hours, and listen to music for 34.8 hours. Like we said earlier, this device comes with a 30W flash charge that delivers a full charge in 66 minutes.

This smartphone uses a 6.5-inch LCD 90Hz full screen and also supports a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, we have a MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G processor and support SA/NSA dual-mode 5G networks. The Oppo K7x comes with a smart design and it is quite thin. This smartphone is about 9.1 mm thick and weighs 194 grams.

In the camera department, the Oppo K7z comes with a 16MP front camera. On the rear, there is a quad camera setup. The quad-camera configuration includes a 48MP main camera, 8MP 105° ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 2MP (one is a 4cm super macro lens while the other is a black and white portrait sensor).

Furthermore, OPPO K7x also arrives with the new Hyper Boost 3.0. This feature provides targeted acceleration solutions for more than 50 applications. It also intelligently predicts possible stalls to meet performance requirements in time.

On the software end, this smartphone will run on ColorOS 7.2 on top of Android 10 out-of-the-box. This system is not bad for this smartphone. The company also promises to release updates for this device subsequently.

As of now, the Oppo K7x is on pre-sale and users can now place their orders for this smartphone. Unfortunately, most of the Chinese platforms that ships globally do not have this device for now. However, the first official sale will take place on N0vember 11. This device should be widely available before then.
