In the past few weeks, there have been multiple reports regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21. According to early speculations, this device will arrive in early January next year. Subsequently, reports out of South Korea claims that the launch of this device will be in January. However, we now have something more specific. According to popular Twitter leakster, Jon Prosser, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be announced on January 14, 2021.
The report claims that there will be three models including the Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The announcement of all three models will take place the same day. Furthermore, he claims that the South Korean technology giant will start global pre-sales of the Galaxy S21 series on the same day. As for the official sales or launch date, the report further claims that it will commence on January 29, 2021.
In Prosser’s tweet, he also stated that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be available in a variety of colors, including black, gray, pink, silver, purple, and white. The internal code name of Galaxy S21 Ultra is O3 and the model number is SM-G998U.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will be equipped with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x Infinity-O display, a 5000mAh battery, a 40MP front lens, and more. The main camera will offer four sensors, where the key one will have a 108-megapixel resolution.
In other respects, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra runs the stable version of One UI 3.0 based on Android 11. It is expected to be equipped with a high refresh rate curved screen (144Hz probability is greater than 120Hz). It will also use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chip in markets such as China and the United States. However, there are reports that the Xiaomi Mi 11 will be the first to use the Snapdragon 875 SoC in China. Other market uses Exynos 2100 SoC, the size is 165.1mm x 75.6mm x 8.9mm (including the camera protrusion is 10.8mm).
In other respects, several authoritative Korean media previously stated that Samsung will add S Pen support to the S series product line. However, OnLeaks claims that Galaxy S21 Ultra does not have a dedicated slot for S Pen. This means that the new device may adopt a design similar to the S Pen on the Galaxy Tab.
