iPhone 12 mini users noticed a strange bug with the display of their devices

A significant number of new iPhone 12 Mini owners have reported lock screen sensitivity issues since purchasing the devices. On various forums, you can find many reviews that are unpleasant for the company describing this problem.

In particular, most users experience the problem when they swipe up from the bottom of the lock screen to unlock the device, or when they press the flashlight or camera shortcut buttons on the lock screen.

The problem is that the touch grid of the display doesn’t always recognize tapping or swiping up to unlock, a gesture that is extremely important for Apple device users given the presence of the Face ID sensor. Sensitivity problems end after unlocking the iPhone 12 Mini.

Some savvy users suggest that the lack of reaction may be due to problems with poor current conductivity in the device; there have already been reviews saying that the problem disappears by itself when the smartphone is connected to a charger, or, as strange as it sounds when you touch the frame of the smartphone when the case is not on.

However, there is still no consensus on what exactly is causing this problem; and whether it is related to the software. If the problem is hardware; then it looks like Apple will have to attend to providing new copies of the iPhone 12 Mini for disgruntled customers.

iPhone 12 mini can fit anyone with small hands or small pockets

Recently, Apple started selling the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max, and now we have started to see reviews and videos describing the features of the new Apple smartphones.

Here is what The Verge writes about the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini: “It’s honestly a bit weird to hold at first, especially if you’re coming from a big phone. Some things do take a bit of an adjustment, like typing — but other parts of using an iPhone, like swiping down from the top of the display for notifications or the control center, are easier than they’ve been in years. But for the first time since arguably the iPhone 8, Apple has made a flagship phone that nearly anyone should be able to comfortably use and hold in one hand”.

Regarding the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max: “ As for how the 12 Pro Max is to actually use and hold, it’s still very much a surfboard of a phone, just like Apple’s other Plus and Max-sized devices. Looking at it on its own is somewhat deceptive, since it’s proportionally similar to the regular-sized models. It’s only when you see it in context next to another iPhone that the scale of it really hits you.”

TechCrunch adds that the iPhone 12 Pro Max doesn’t look too big despite being the largest iPhone in history.
