After the launch of the very succesful POCO X3, the brand is back for a new smartphone launch. POCO Global previously teased the arrival of a new smartphone by the end of 2020. Now, the brand officially confirmed the arrival of the POCO M3 on November 24 next week. POCO has been known for its recent rebranding strategy. So far, the X3 is the only original device released by the company. Apparently, the POCO M3 will also be a rebranded version of the yet-to-go official Redmi Note 10 4G.
I don’t know about you, but I truly miss the feeling of waiting for a new POCO to be revealed. 🙌

The M2010J19SG and M2010J19SI are known as the Global and Indian variants of this Redmi Note 10 4G smartphones. Its Chinese version bears the model number M2010J19SC. Perhaps, we won’t have a Global Redmi Note 10 4G. Instead, Xiaomi will sell the POCO M3 in Indian and Global markets.
Gizchina News of the week
POCO M3 aka Redmi Note 10 4G specifications
According to TENAA’s listing, the POCO M3 aka Note 10 4G will be a mid-range smartphone featuring a Snapdragon 662 chipset. This chipset isn’t what we wanted to see in the end of 2020. Perhaps, the device will come with an aggressive price tag to justify the choice for a chipset that has less horsepower than the Snapdragon 665 which is present on the Redmi Note 8 from last year. Apart from the SoC, the listing also revealed 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal Storage. On the front, the phone sports a 6.53-inch FHD IPS LCD panel with a waterdrop notch serving as a house for an 8MP selfie camera.
On the back, the POCO M3 will sport a triple-camera setup featuring a Square-ish camera design. Interestingly enough, this marks a new design language for the Redmi Note 10 series. According to reports, the main camera will be a 48MP shooter that already is standard among mid-range smartphones nowadays. The handset is said to come with a 6,000mAh battery which is excellent and also is on par with the Indian variant of the POCO X3 that dropped NFC but increased the battery size from 5,160mAh to 6,000mAh. The POCO M3 is said to charge via 22.5W fast-charging.
Other specs include Android 10 with MIUI 12 running atop and POCO Launcher to differentiate the phone from other Xiaomi handsets.
The fun fact about POCO M3 and Redmi Note 10 semblances is that the second is only expected for December. So in the end, the Redmi Note 10 may end looking like a rebranding of the POCO M3.
