POCO probably is performing fine in 2020 thanks to the multitude of appealing devices in the release. However, its appeal among users is less than satisfactory after so many rebrandings. Things started to change with the POCO X3 NFC that so far has been a stellar smartphone with a 120Hz display, 64MP camera, 5160mAh battery (6.000mAh if you’re in India), and notably an original design. Now, POCO is moving on to launch its second originally-designed smartphone dubbed POCO M3. In counterpart to the POCO M2, which never left India, after all, it’s just a rebranded Redmi 9, the POCO M3 is coming directly to Global markets.
The handset will be revealed tomorrow, and most of its specifications are already known. The device passed through a multitude of certifications in the past days and even paid a visit to GeekBench which confirmed the presence of the 11nm Snapdragon 662 chipset. Today, POCO confirmed the presence of this chipset alongside a 6.53-inch display and a massive 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging. All details will be revealed tomorrow during the device’s launch, however, a new leak appeared a few hours ahead.
An attractive price and a capable camera
According to a reliable tipster, the prices for the POCO M3 will start at €150 -160 (~$177.68 – $190) for the base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Storage. If you want the variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage it will set you back by €170-180 (~$201 – $213). We also expect the phone to come with a microSD card slot for further memory expansion. Moreover, the company itself confirmed the availability of a 48MP camera. We expect a sensor from Sony which has been very traditional among Redmi smartphones now.
