Samsung Galaxy S21 series new leak shows its rear design

The Samsung Galaxy S21 series flagship will arrive in January next year if the speculations are correct. This series includes the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. As the release time approaches, there is more information on the appearance and configuration of this series. The Galaxy S21 series will generally continue the design of the previous generation. At least, it will still use the same punch-hole full-screen display. However, there is a lot of changes to the rear. Looking at the rear camera design, there are major changes that indicate more powerful imaging capabilities. The entire module is on the top left corner of this device.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series

According to rumors, this series will use both the Exynos 2100 and Snapdragon 875 SoC. As usual, the availability will depend on the market. According to reports, the handset will feature a 6.2-inch FHD+ LTPS display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. On the software front, the handset will run Android 11 OS with OneUI 3.1 running atop.

Samsung Galaxy S21 alleged specifications

The 3C listing revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S21 will come with a 3,880mAh battery. However, this is the rated battery capacity. We believe that the typical capacity will be around 4,000mAh and Samsung, obviously, will use this number for marketing purposes. Moreover, the device is set to come with 25W fast-charging, which is a little bit underwhelming. Well, in 2021 many companies, especially the Chinese ones, are launching mid-range phones with 33W fast-charging. Realme, for instance, gave a step beyond introducing a cost-effective device with 65W fast-charging. It’s a shame that a premium flagship will still come with a standard that isn’t cutting-edge.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will arrive with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x Infinity-O display. This smartphone will also come with a 5000mAh battery as well as a 40MP front lens. The main camera will offer four sensors, where the key one will have a 108-megapixel resolution. In addition, the high-end models of this Samsung flagship series will arrive with the Exynos 2100 chipset.

In other respects, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra runs the stable version of One UI 3.0 based on Android 11. From expectations, this device should use a high refresh rate curved screen (144Hz probability is greater than 120Hz). It will also use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chip in markets such as China and the United States. However, there are reports that the Xiaomi Mi 11 will be the first to use the Snapdragon 875 SoC in China. Other market uses Exynos 2100 SoC, the size is 165.1mm x 75.6mm x 8.9mm (including the camera protrusion is 10.8mm).
