Amazfit GTS 2 Mini

The market for wearable devices is growing as ever in 2020. During Q3 2020, the market kept its growth following what seems to be a tendency in 2020. Apparently, the market that comprises products like smartwatches, smart bands, TWS audio products, and other wearable tech is finally catching customers. Of course, we can say that one of the main reasons that drove this growth is the continuous arrival of affordable products with high-quality and top-notch features. Among the main companies, we have Huami with its Amazfit and Zepp lineups. This year, the company recorded impressive results thanks to the launch of a multitude of products at various price segments. Now, the company is gearing up to launch the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini.

Huami started to tease the launch of the aforementioned product for December 1. The company’s latest Weibo post comes to build the hype for a compact version of their Amazfit GST 2 Mini. According to the publication made on the Chinese microblog platform, the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini will bring a smaller display. Moreover, it will have a lighter design and a thinner profile for lovers of minimalistic wearables. The original wearable was revealed back in September. Now the company is ready to unveil a smaller version for all customers that want a lighter solution.

The teaser videos reveal a mini square, round dial, and a bezel-less design. Apparently, the new wearable will come in multiple colorways – Black, Green, and Pink. Moreover, the company designed the variants to be in harmony with the straps. However, we expect these straps to be replaceable just like other models. Worth noting that there is only one dial button on the right side.

Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e may also be revealed at the event

Earlier this month, FCC listed two new versions of Amazfit smartwatches dubbed GTS 2e and GTR 2e. According to rumors, these can be more affordable alternatives to the regular models. We wouldn’t be surprised to see all wearables debuting in the same December 1 event. Therefore, Huami will be able to close the year with solid alternatives and this can potentially boost the company’s results for Q4 2020.

This month the company unveiled the Zepp Z as a “premium mid-range” smartwatch. Yes, the “premium mid-range” concept has entered the market of wearables. Now, the new batch of smartwatches coming December will close Huami’s 2020. We expect the company to keep offering solid products in the next year under both brandings.
