Redmi Note 10 4G (M2010J19SG) passes by IMDA certification

Several months ago, Redmi announced its Redmi Note 9 series in India and followed with a global release. The company had to skip its homeland due to the COVID-19 crisis that was ravaging the country during the two first quarters of 2020. With the situation getting established in China, Xiaomi’s band moved on with the release of the Note 9 series there, but the devices weren’t the same as the ones released earlier this year. The company announced, yesterday, the Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 9 5G. None of these devices is close to the ones released in global markets. While the 5G on the name is a strong hint of the differences, the Chinese devices also bring other compelling specs. For instance, we have a 120Hz display, 108MP camera in the higher version. For now, we don’t know if these devices will make way to the global markets, but if they do, we have strong reasons to believe that they will be rebranded to Redmi Note 10 series.

Redmi Note 9 4G, Note 10 4G or POCO M3?

A new Redmi smartphone bearing model number M2010J19SG model number appeared on IMDA certification. For comparison, the model number is very close to the Redmi Note 9 4G released yesterday in China. It bears model number M2010J19SC. While the certification does not bring the marketing name of the handset, rumors are pointing that it could launch as Redmi Note 10 4G in global markets. Of course, the launch date for this new Redmi smartphone remains a mystery. Worth noting that the recently released POCO M3 also has a similar model number. Both the Note 9 4G and M3 are very close in specifications but have a different design. We won’t be surprised to see two devices, Redmi Note 10 and POCO M3 being sold in International markets with the very same set of specifications.
