Redmi Note 9 Pro to hit the shelves again tomorrow – stay tuned


A few days ago, Redmi officially released the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 9 series. This series has three models including Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi Note 9, and Redmi Note 9 Pro. Now, it appears that the Redmi Note 9 series is facing supply issues. When we say “supply issues”, we do not mean that in a bad light. Actually, the demand for the Redmi Note 9 series is very high. The company recently activated sales of the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro. However, this sale did not last very long, it sold out within a few hours.

The company activated the sales for these smartphones on December 1 at 00:00. As of 12:00, all models of this series were out of stock. According to Redmi, the new retail channel exceeds 300,000 units. This shows that the demand for these devices is quite high. Today, Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group China and General Manager of Redmi Brand, announced that Redmi Note 9 Pro will be on sale again at 10 o’clock tomorrow.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro uses a 3D four-curved arc design and LCD screen. It supports a 120Hz variable speed refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. In terms of configuration, Redmi Note 9 Pro is the first Chinese Snapdragon 750G liquid-cooled gaming core phone. It also comes with dual super linear speakers. Furthermore, this smartphone supports IP53 dust and splash resistance and it comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and Type-C interface.

In the camera department, Redmi Note9 Pro is the first Redmi phone to use the new Samsung HM2 108MP sensor. It also supports hardware-level Remosaic for fast photography and has “9 in 1” pixel fusion technology. Other features in the camera include dual native ISO technology and AI Super Night View 2.0 algorithm. It only takes 1.09 seconds for the 108 MP sensor to take pictures. This is much faster than the Xiaomi Mi CC 9 Pro.

In terms of price, Redmi Note 9 Pro has three models. The 6GB+128GB model sells for 1599 yuan ($243). In addition, the 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB sells for 1799 yuan ($274) and 1999 yuan ($304) respectively.

The Redmi Note 9 5G comes with a Dimensity 800U 5G processor. It uses UFS2.2 storage, a built-in 5000 mAh battery, and supports dual 5G standby. It also comes with stereo dual speakers, a linear motor, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Furthermore, this device supports infrared remote control, with 48MP main cameras. The 6GB+128GB version of this device sells for 1299 yuan ($178) while the 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB sells for 1499 yuan ($228) and 1699 yuan ($259) respectively.
