Vivo X60 series to use a 33W fast charge and a Snapdragon 888 chip


Some Vivo smartphones recently got the Chinese 3C certification. According to DigitalChatStation, the model numbers of these devices are V2046A, V2047A, and V2059A  and they belong to the Vivo X60 series. A new report claims that this series will come with a 33W charge pump fast charge. In addition, the top model, Vivo X60 Pro+ will use the recently released Snapdragon 888 chip. Furthermore, the leak claims that this smartphone will arrive in January.  This means that we will see a plethora of Snapdragon 888 smartphones in January. The Xiaomi Mi 11, Galaxy S21 series, and Vivo X60 series will use this chip. Their launch dates are also in January.

Vivo X60 series

According to the report, the rest of the X60 series will use Samsung’s Exynos 1080 chip. They will come with the latest OriginOS UI and use a center single punch-hole straight screen. This series will also come with a cloud-level micro-panel lens at the rear. Furthermore, the camera department will have a 5-axis VIS anti-shake design.

According to reports, the Vivo X60 Pro+running score is the highest among the Snapdragon 888 devices. However, these scores are from engineering models and could significantly change in the final version. On Geekbench 5 it scores 1135 points for single-core and 3681 points for multi-core.

Alleged Vivo X60 real image appears online with Exynos 1080 & OriginOS

Last month, at the Exynos 1080 SoC launch event in China, Samsung announced Vivo as a “strategic partner”. This statement sparks the speculations that Vivo will be the first company to use the Exynos 1080 SoC. According to @DigitalChatStation, the Vivo X60 will come with the Exynos 1080 SoC.

According to leaks, this phone uses a punch-hole screen with curved edges. The punch-hole is at the top center of this device. In addition, the brand-new OriginOS UI has also been installed on the Vivo X60 series. According to previous news, the OS adopts a mimicry design and has greatly changed its style. 

The phone on the left side of the picture above has a flat-screen and a red power button. Also, the Vivo device with the OriginOS (with curve screen) is very similar to the second image with a curved screen. As of now, it is not clear whether the phone also belongs to the Vivo X60 series. Last year Vivo released the Vivo X30 series with the Exynos 980 chip.
