Recent reports claim that two Xiaomi dual-cell battery designs have now passed through 3C certification. According to the certification, the rated capacity is 2390×2=4780mAh and 2485×2 =4970mAh. However, @DigitalChatStation reports that the standard value of these batteries is 4920 mAh and 5120 mAh respectively. If 55W fast charging is used, these batteries can get a full charge in 35 minutes. Furthermore, there are expectations that these will be a 3C battery cell design. Since Xiaomi’s flagship models are all designed with 6C batteries, these batteries are most likely for mid-range phones.
The fastest fast-charging power of Xiaomi currently is the 120W fast charging technology. The company used this technology in the Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Edition. Recall that this device also supports wireless fast charging up to 55W. It is worth mentioning that a Xiaomi power adapter with model MDY-12-EQ passed the 3C certification last month. The first issuance date is November 23 and it supports up to 55W fast charge. There are also reports that this charger will be for mid-range devices.

Xiaomi is preparing three smartphones to use Snapdragon 888 SoC
Xiaomi has taken seriously the new flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. At first, right during the SoC announcement, its CEO, Lei Jun, confirmed that the company will be the first to use this chip in the Xiaomi Mi 11. Then the head of the Redmi brand, Lu Weibing, announced the preparation of a Redmi phone based on Snapdragon 888. Apparently, such a device will be the Redmi K40 Pro. And now there are details about the third model.
According to @DigitalChatStation, Black Shark is already preparing to release a model codenamed “Emperor”. This phone comes with the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC. Recall that Black Shark mostly releases gaming smartphones and the SD888 is optimized for gaming. Its feature will be the design of the smartphone itself and the charging.
He also assures that the flagship Redmi on Snapdragon 888 will be released much earlier than the Redmi K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom, built on Snapdragon 865. Those, we recall, debuted on March 24 this year. If the new model comes out “much earlier”, then its announcement can be expected in January, at the latest in February. That is why the insider does not recommend buying flagship smartphones now – there is simply no point in this, it is better to wait a couple of months before new products on Snapdragon 888 appear on sale.
