Apple iPhone 12 Pro

Although Apple has released four iPhone 12 models this year, not all perform identically in terms of supply. It turns out the top-end version the iPhone 12 Pro is in short supply. This is one of the rare cases, when an Apple product, especially the iPhone has a status of ‘out of stock’.

The delivery time tracked by the investment bank JPMorgan Chase shows that the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max are in short supply. But there is no problem in supplying similar products at low prices. We mean the rest two models are sold as usual.

Judging from the current situation on Apple’s official website (China), the iPhone 12 and 12 mini are both in stock. But the iPhone 12 Pro series are available in 2-3 weeks. In fact, it has been reduced a lot compared to the previous 3-4 weeks. Anyways, we should state that the delivery time still can’t be considered to be strong.

Gizchina News of the week

The report shows that in the United States, which accounts for about 35% of global iPhone shipments, the delivery time of iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max has expanded to 27 days and 23 days, respectively. The in-store pickup time for all models is one day.

Why is the iPhone 12 Pro series the most popular?

A previous delivery note in early November showed that demand for the iPhone 12 Pro Max is higher than that of the iPhone 12 mini.

Regarding the shortage of the iPhone 12 Pro series, Apple said that they have tried their best to solve the situation. But there is no way to fully solve it. As for when the supply and demand can be met, it is still uncertain.

Interestingly, the iPhone 12 Pro has been considered to be the seventh-best smartphone for those who take selfies frequently. In DxOMark laboratory, its front camera scored 98 points, including 101 points for photos and 93 points for videos. On the other hand, the same platform proves the iPhone 12 Pro Max is Apple’s best camera phone so far. These facts explain why they are in a short supply.
