In recent times, a couple of leaks regarding Huawei has been coming out of China. Many of these leaks are from popular Weibo leakster, DigitalChatStation. Today, he revealed that Huawei will release a couple of devices on December 23rd. The list includes Huawei nova 8 series (nova 8 and nova 8 Pro), Huawei Enjoy 20SE, and Huawei Watch Fit.
According to previous reports, the starting price of Huawei nova 8 is about 3,000 yuan ($458) while that of Huawei nova 8 Pro is about 4,000 yuan ($611). For now, it appears that the launch date is only tentative. Furthermore, there are reports that the first official sales of these devices will take place on December 30th.
Several reports claim that Huawei’s nova 8 series models will still use an HiSilicon Kirin chip. However, there is no information on the specific chip that this series will use. Nevertheless, considering the current status of the Mate 40 series, it will most likely not use the Kirin 9000.
Previously @DigitalChatStation also revealed that Huawei will launch the Dimensity 700 chip. The new phone will use a 6.5-inch FHD+ resolution 60Hz refresh rate LCD single punch-hole LCD screen. The punch-hole will be in the upper left corner of the display. On the front, the device will have a 16MP camera. On the rear, it will use a 48MP main sensor as well as an 8MP+2MP+2MP configuration to complete the quad-rear camera setup. Furthermore, this smartphone will come with a 4000 mAh battery that supports a 40W fast charge. From speculations, this phone will be the standard Huawei nova 8.
The Huawei Enjoy 20SE is an entry-level device and may also use a Dimensity chip. Currently, the Huawei Enjoy 20 series includes the Enjoy 20, 20 Plus, and 20 Pro. The Enjoy 20SE will probably sell for below 2000 yuan ($306).

Honor V40 series to use four flagship chips from different manufacturers
As of now, there is not much information regarding the Honor V40 series. However, if the recent leak is true, then the company is preparing something interesting. According to a leak on Weibo, the Honor V40 series will have four models. The interesting part of the leak is that all four models will use different flagship processors from different manufacturers. This will be the first time that a single series will use as many as four different flagship chips from different manufacturers.
According to the leak, the Honor V40 will come with a Dimensity 1000+ SoC. In addition, there will be an Honor V40 Pro which will use Samsung’s Exynos 1080. Furthermore, the Honor V40 Pro+ will use Snapdragon 888 while the Honor V40 Commemorative Edition will come with Huawei’s Kirin 9000.
The leak is also a poll thus we are not entirely certain how the poster got a hold of the information. As of now, we can not verify this information thus we employ you to take it with a pinch of salt. Furthermore, there is no confirmation that the U.S. will allow Honor to use American technology. Thus, we can not guarantee that Honor can use Dimensity, Exynos, and Snapdragon chips. In addition, the Kirin 9000 SoC is barely enough for the Huawei Mate 40 series and other planned flagship. It is most unlikely that Huawei will have some units to sell to Honor for its V40 series. All these are just some questions that beg for answers.
