New details about Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphones have appeared on the web. This time they relate to prices and look very interesting. If you believe the source (and their predictions in the past came true), two models of the Galaxy S21 series will be cheaper compared to the Galaxy S20, while one model will rise in price.
Galaxy S21 will be cheaper than the S20, while the S21 Ultra will be more expensive
The most affordable representatives of the line – Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + will fall in price. The first with the 128GB of flash memory version will be offered for 880 euros versus 1000 euros, which was asked for the base Galaxy S20. This price reduction is significant and should be welcomed. The Galaxy S21 + will not fall in price so much. If the price of the Galaxy S20 + at the start of sales was 1100 euros, then 1080 euros will be asked for its successor. However, given the changes in the hardware platform and the improved camera, even this price cut seems like a good bonus.
But if you are already looking at the Galaxy S21 Ultra, then you need to prepare for a rise in price. So, if the cost of the Galaxy S20 Ultra for the version with 128 GB of flash memory at the start of sales was 1,350 euros, then for the Galaxy S21 Ultra you will have to pay 1,400 euros. Why Samsung was unable to reduce the price of this model (or at least keep its price at the level of its predecessor) is not clear.
Gizchina News of the week
It should be noted that this is not the first rumor that the Galaxy S21 will be more affordable than its predecessors. And such a move by the Korean company definitely makes sense. Firstly, this will increase audience loyalty; and secondly, a lower price will allow the company to strengthen its position in the top-end smartphone segment and take some market share from Huawei.
Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ official photos leaked in all colors
WinFuture website has published official photos of the Samsung Galaxy S21 and Samsung Galaxy S21 + smartphones in different colors, and this time we can see the new smartphones from the back and from the side.
We will remind, earlier this week, the reliable insider Evan Blass shared the first official press renders of the standard version of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone, and then we were shown only the front of the smartphone.
The side view of the smartphone looks a little strange; but everything becomes clear if you look at the updated rear camera unit; which is a continuation and part of the body itself, if you look at the smartphone from the side. When viewed from the back; it seems that the camera unit, as we said earlier, floats to the top and left of the body.
The S21 and S21 + have flat screens; and only the S21 Ultra will have a curved display, which should also get stylus support.
The official announcement of smartphones is expected on January 14th.
