Fossil is gearing up for the launch of its next WearOS based smartwatch “Fossil Gen 6”. The smartwatch is spotted on FCC with model number C1NF1. The main highlight of Fossil Gen6 C1NF1 according to the listing is its LTE support. Although, in September 2020, four models of Fossil smartwatches are spotted on FCC certification with little details except for model numbers i.e. DW11F1, DW11F2, DW11M1, and DW11M2.
Now Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch listing on the FCC website which was first spotted by thegoandroid has some more details than the September listing. According to the FCC, the Fossil C1NF1 smartwatch supports LTE 2,4, 12, 13 bands. The smartwatch also has NFC, Bluetooth, and WiFi. The device is tested with an APP00310 battery with 2.85Vdc and 0.4Ah power rating. Although the battery capacity is still unknown. Moreover, Fossil’s smartwatch with model number C1NF1, C1CF1, C1EF1, DW11F1, and DW11F2 are also spotted on Bluetooth SIG.

Fossil Gen 6 Smartwatch Specification (Expected)
Fossil gen6 smartwatch is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon wear 4100 SoC. The smartwatch will run on the latest Wear OS. It is packed with LTE support, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and WiFi. It is also said that Fossil’s Gen 6 smartwatch will have improved battery life.
Fossil Gen 5 Specification (Predecessor of Fossil Gen 6)
It was launched back in August 2019. Fossil Gen 5 designed in a circular shape with a 44mm case size. The smartwatch is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon wear 3100 SoC pairs with 4GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. Fossil Gen 5 runs on WearOS by Google and has 24+ battery life in extended mode. The watch is waterproof up to 30 meters in depth. It is also packed accelerometer, altimeter, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, heart rate, NFC, and GPS.
The smartwatch has an Always-on display feature. It can also track your activity and sleep. Fossil Gen 5 is compatible with Android phones running on Android OS 6.0 or above and iPhone running on iOS 12.0+.
