OnePlus is currently actively sending new updates for its two latest smartphones, 8T and Nord. As we can see, the company still remains on the list of manufacturers who do actively update their devices.
An interesting detail is that OnePlus Nord will receive a more recent December security patch, while the more expensive and pumped OnePlus 8T will be content with only the November patch.
Touching on the issue of updating OnePlus Nord, we will immediately clarify that the mid-budget device receives the OxygenOS firmware with the number 10.5.10. The update is sent all over the world, as always, the distribution will be divided into several waves, so if the firmware has not arrived yet, you will have to wait a bit.
In addition to the latest security patch, you also get Google Services updates, general bug fixes, and stability improvements.
The official changelog of the OnePlus 8T update mentions optimizing navigation in the system using gestures, improving and speeding up the fingerprint scanner, adding keyboard height adjustment, and improved image quality for night photography.
The company also improved the stability of communication. The update also fixes an issue that prevented the display of photos in the Gallery for some users, as well as an issue that was causing the Wi-Fi connection to fail.
In India and North America, the update is OxygenOS 11.0.6.7, and in Europe, it is OxygenOS 11.0.6.8.
