Huawei is an innovative company and it is one of the top smartphone makers in the world. Unfortunately, the U.S. ban is seriously hindering the company’s smartphone business. However, the good news is that the ban only affects Huawei’s smartphone business and nothing more. The company is still developing new technologies in other areas. According to a recent report from popular Weibo leakster, @DigitalChatStation, Huawei is working on a 135W charging adapter.

The report shows that the Huawei brand-new 135W charging adapter recently got the Chinese 3C certification. However, the actual device it will be charging is not public yet. Whether it is a smartphone adapter or a notebook adapter or a dual adapter remains to be seen.
From the listing, the power adapter model is HW-200675CP0 and it is produced by Dongguan Aohai Technology. It supports six power levels of 15W, 27W, 60W, 75W, 94W, and 135W.
As far as known products are concerned, the 65W Huawei Super Fast Charge Multi-Protocol Charger HW-200200CP1 should be the most powerful power adapter among Huawei’s products. It supports QC2.0, FCP, SCP, SSCP (10V/4A ), and other fast charging protocols. It also supports fixed voltage files such as 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/3.25A, etc., and supports fast charging for various devices such as mobile phones (55W) and laptop computers (65W).

Of course, Huawei also has a new super-fast charging charger with a maximum of 66W. However, it seems to only support the two gears of 11V6A and 5V2A, and it is currently not on the shelves.
The first HarmonyOS smartphone may not be Huawei P50
This year, Huawei will launch a batch of new smart devices including its first mobile phones pre-installed with HarmonyOS. Now, there is news that the first mobile phone with HarmonyOS may not be the Huawei P50 as everyone expects. According to a Weibo source (@鹏鹏君), an HarmonyOS smartphone will arrive soon. However, this device may not be the P50 and it will have unique sales.
According to the report, this device is about to enter the final production stage. After its release, this phone will be available via various sales channels such as Huawei offline stores. Of course, the performance of this smartphone is worth looking forward to.
Earlier reports showed that Huawei will launch the Huawei P50 in the first quarter of 2021. The earlier speculations also claim that the Huawei 50 will be the first to use the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system. However, considering the current report, we are not so sure now.
In order to complete the development, Huawei has launched the HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile beta for developers in mid-December 2020. At the same time, the company is also opening the recruitment of the HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile test version of Huawei P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro devices.
For now, Huawei limits the testing scope of HarmonyOS 2.0 to China. This means that it is HongmengOS 2.0 that is in testing. This is because HongmengOS 2.0 is the Chinese version of HarmonyOS 2.0. We expect that the first HarmonyOS smartphone will initially be for Chinese consumers and it may take some time to enter the global market.
