Top 10 most powerful flagship and mid-range phones in December 2020


The team of the popular AnTuTu benchmark has published a fresh ranking of the most powerful flagship and mid-rage Android phones on the international market. It differs from the ranking compiled by AnTuTu for China.

Regarding the flagship smartphones, unlike the Chinese ranking, where Xiaomi Mi 11 reigned on the basis of the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, Huawei Mate 40 Pro based on Kirin 9000 leads the international Top 10 with 657,784 points.

The remaining 9 places in the Top 10 are occupied by models based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC. In second place is iQOO Neo3 with 646,016 points, in third – Asus ROG Phone 3 with 630,307 points. Then there are Oppo Find X2 (610 749 points), Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G (604 401 points), OnePlus 8 Pro (584 057 points), Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G (581 233 points), Black Shark 3 (574 438 points), Galaxy S20 FE 5G (574,187 points) and Poco F2 Pro (572,474 points).

Regarding the mid-range market, the first place was taken by Honor 30 based on the Kirin 985 SoC with 404,970 points. Moreover, this model has been the leader in the ranking for the third month in a row.

In second place we have the Huawei Nova 7, also based on the Kirin 985, with 402,080 points. The top three is closed by Redmi 10X 5G based on MediaTek Dimensity 820 with 394 545 points. Then come Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G (331 796 points), Redmi K30 5G (325 915 points), Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G (323 260 points), Huawei Nova 7i (313 322 points), Realme 7 (297 910 points), Redmi Note 8 Pro (292 901 points) and Realme 6 (291 109 points). Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G and Redmi 10X 5G models made their first appearance in this AnTuTu ranking.

The data were collected from December 1 to December 31 of this year. It is worth noting that the table shows average, not the highest, results, with at least 1,000 test results used for each model.

Oppo Find X3 breaks the AnTuTu benchmark with over 770,000 points

Recently, Oppo’s founder and CEO, Chen Mingyong, delivered a New Year’s speech. According to him, the company will break into the high-end market in 2021. He also revealed that the Oppo Find X3 will be official in the first quarter of this year. This is one of the earliest official information regarding this smartphone.

Oppo Find X3

A few hours after the speech, the AnTuTu performance of the Oppo Find X3 has appeared. The AnTuTu device comes with model numberĀ OPPO PEEMO0 and a score of 771,491 points at room temperature. The batter temperature is 28.7Ā°C while the CPU temperature is 43.8Ā°C.

This is the highest room temperature running score of any smartphone currently using the Snapdragon 888 SoC. This score is about 5% higher than the official score from Qualcomm. Furthermore, the temperatures are within the Snapdragon 888 SoC limits.

According to recent reports, the Oppo Find X3 series will have three models. These models will arrive at the beginning of the first quarter (any time from now). In addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, this phone will use theĀ first Android full-link color management system.

In addition, the Oppo Find X3 will come with aĀ 6.7-inch, 1440 x 3216 resolution display (525ppi) just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It will also use an adaptive refresh rate of 10Hz to 120Hz, and a maximum color range of 1.07 billion.

The OPPO Find X3 series adopts a rear four-camera design. It includes two of Sonyā€™s new IMX766 sensors (50MP). One of these sensors is a wide-angle lens while the other is an ultra-wide-angle lens. It will also have a 13MP telephoto lens supporting 2x optical zoom and a special 3MP macro lens that can achieve 25x zoom.

Under the hood, this device will also use a 4500 mAh dual-cell battery non-removable battery. This battery supportsĀ 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 wired fast charging and 30W VOOC Air wireless flash charging. As of now, there is no official information on the charging speed details. However, we expect a full charge in a few minutes.

In other respects, this phone is about 8 mm thick and 190 grams in weight. It also uses a curved screen design, curved ceramic glass, or frosted glass back. From the available information so far, this device will come in black and blue colour options. The company will also add a white version much later.

    the Redmi 10X 5G model is by far my favorite of the phone. It is a decent mid-range ensemble carrying the required specs such as the AMOLED display, 4520mah battery and topped by the high-preforming Mediatek Dimensity 820 with 48MP cameras
