Honor V40 with Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ SoC Spotted on Geekbench

As you might know that Honor is gearing up for the launch of its flagship Honor V40 series on 18th January in China. Honor V40 series is expected to have three smartphones i.e. Honor V40, Honor V40 Pro, and Honor V40 Pro+. There are a lot of leaks and reports coming related to the Honor V40 series. Now Honor V40 with model number Honor YOK-AN10 spotted on GeekBench.

In GeekBench listing Honor V40 gets 468 points in single-core testing and 2061 in multi-core testing. According to the listing, the smartphone pairs 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 10. Honor V40 is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ SoC. The smartphone also has 5G support. Recently, the smartphone also passed through Rheinland’s safe fast-charging certification with the same model number. According to Rheinland’s certificate Honor V40 will support 50W wireless fast charging support.

It is expected to feature a 6.72-inch OLED display with a 2676 x 1236 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC powers the Honor V40. In optics, Honor V40 packs a quad-camera setup at the back. It includes 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Talking about the front camera, there will be a dual-camera setup that includes a 32MP primary camera along with a 16MP camera. An official teaser image posted on Weibo confirms that the smartphone will have a pill-shaped cutout at the top-left corner of the Honor V40, like Huawei Mate 40 Pro.

Honor V40 series runs on the Magic UI 4.0 + Huawei Mobile Services based on Android 10. The smartphone may feature a 4,000mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging support. Moreover, Honor V40 will also come with 45W wireless fast charging support.
