Samsung rolls out Another update for Galaxy S20 FE Touchscreen Stability

Samsung starts rolling out another update to fix the touchscreen responsiveness of Galaxy S20 FE. It is the fourth update with touchscreen improvements to the smartphone. The update comes with firmware version G81BXXU1BUA5 on Galaxy S20 FE, it weighs around 263 MB in size. Recently, the company has rolled out an update with firmware version G78xxXXU1ATJ5 to fix the issues.

This time the update on Galaxy S20 FE is rolling out with Android security patch for the month of January 2021. The update also improves the overall stability of the smartphone. Although the main highlight of the new firmware update is the touchscreen improvements. After the three updates, some users are claiming that the issue is not fixed. Hopefully, with this latest update, the touchscreen issue is fixed on all the units of Galaxy S20 FE.

As this is a phased roll-out, if the update notification doesn’t appear on your smartphone don’t panic it will be there in some time. Moreover, you can check it manually by going through the settings > software update. Although the update is a small some, we recommend you to charge your smartphone up to 50% before start installing the update.

In-camera section, Galaxy S20 FE houses a triple camera at the back including 12MP wide-angle primary camera with OIS, 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS support, and 12 MP ultrawide camera with auto HDR. Talking about the front camera, there’s a 32MP wide-angle camera with HDR support.

The phone packs Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C 3.2, an under-display fingerprint sensor. It has a 4500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging support. Galaxy S20 FE runs on Samsung’s One UI 2.5 based on Android 10 out of the box.
