15 Samsung smartphones will soon get OneUI 3.1 based on Android 11

While Samsung OneUI user interface in the most current version 3.1 is available only on the latest models of the Galaxy S21 series, the company will naturally release it for other smartphones as well. The list has already been published on the Web.

The list includes 15 models, and all of them – no surprises here – are either current or recent flagships. The complete list is as follows:

  • Galaxy Note 20
  • Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
  • Galaxy-Z Fold 2
  • Galaxy Z Flip
  • Galaxy S20 FE
  • Galaxy-S20
  • Galaxy S20 +
  • Galaxy S20 Ultra
  • Galaxy-Fold
  • Galaxy Note 10
  • Galaxy Note 10
  • Galaxy-S10 +
  • Galaxy S10
  • Galaxy S10e
  • Galaxy-Note 10 Lite

When OneUI 3.1 will be released for all these models, it is not reported. But not all of them have already received OneUI 3.0. For example, OneUI 3.0 for Galaxy Fold, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 +, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G, and Galaxy Z Flip 5G will launch in February.

Samsung will deprive its future smartphones of chargers and headphones

Samsung Electronics unveiled the flagship Galaxy S21 series, which included no charger or headphones. And this change will not be an exception – Samsung plans to deprive all its future smartphones of it.

Samsung has published a Q&A document that explains some of the nuances surrounding the Galaxy S21. Including, it answered the question about the contents of the box.

As Samsung explained, the company has found that more and more Galaxy users are reusing existing accessories and making sustainable choices in their daily lives. So the decision to ditch the charger and headphones was made to “support the community.”

Galaxy S21 Ultra Bundle

Now the company plans to gradually get rid of headphones and power adapters in the delivery kits of its other smartphones. How fast this process will be and which models will be hit first are not reported.

The set of the Galaxy S21 series smartphones contains only a cable and a clip for removing the SIM card tray.

Gizchina News of the week

When Apple decided to release the iPhone 12 with a reduced package, many companies began to make fun of it. Including Samsung. However, the bad example turned out to be contagious and, in addition to Samsung, Xiaomi also followed in the footsteps of Apple with its new flagship Xiaomi Mi 11.
