Xiaomi MiTalk announces that it will stop service on February 19

Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi, has many businesses most of which are doing quite well. However, not all its subsidiaries are doing well while some are even going under. According to the company, it will completely terminate Xiaomi MiTalk at 12:00 on February 19, 2021. If you are a user of this service, you will have to export the chat history by yourself. Also, note that after Xiaomi MiTalk stops service, you can not export any personal data and information in the system. If your device is on Android v8.8.70 and above, you can use batch export.

Xiaomi MiTalk

Xiaomi launched this messaging platform at its inception in 2010. Initially, it was a very popular messaging platform with millions of users. However, over the years, the company lost touch with users. It lost its place to the likes of WeChat and other younger messaging platform. As much as we hate to see MiTalk go, we must admit that its users are not that much. Attempting to maintain such a platform would probably be a loss for Xiaomi.
