Oppo Find X3 Pro gets FCC certification – Snapdragon 888, 2K/120Hz refresh rate & more

Since the release of the Snapdragon 888 SoC, there have been reports of many phones that will use this chip. Over the past three weeks, we have seen the launch of multiple smartphones with the SD888. However, many other SD888 smartphones are on their way, one of them is the Oppo Find X3. According to Oppo’s CEO, Chen Mingyong, the company’s new flagship, Oppo Find X3 series will arrive in Q1 2021. According to @DigitalChatStation, the OPPO Find X3 Pro international version has now obtained FCC certification.

This device comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and also supports a 2K+120Hz screen. It also uses the same adaptive refresh rate as Samsung. Under the hood, this device will also use a 4500 mAh dual-cell battery non-removable battery. This battery supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 wired fast charging and 30W VOOC Air wireless flash charging. As of now, there is no official information on the charging speed details. However, we expect a full charge in a few minutes.  On the software end, the Oppo Find X3 Pro will arrive with ColorOS 11.2 system on top of Android 11.

According to previous reports, the Oppo Find X3 will use OFILM’s lens module, and will add a ring flash around the lens to simulate a real microscope, and the magnification is much higher than that of existing mobile phones.

Oppo Find X3 breaks the AnTuTu benchmark with over 770,000 points

The AnTuTu performance of the Oppo Find X3 is now in the public domain. The AnTuTu device comes with model number OPPO PEEMO0 and a score of 771,491 points at room temperature. The batter temperature is 28.7°C while the CPU temperature is 43.8°C.

This is the highest room temperature running score of any smartphone currently using the Snapdragon 888 SoC. This score is about 5% higher than the official score from Qualcomm. Furthermore, the temperatures are within the Snapdragon 888 SoC limits.

According to recent reports, the Oppo Find X3 series will have three models. These models will arrive at the beginning of the first quarter (any time from now). In addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, this phone will use the first Android full-link color management system.

In addition, the Oppo Find X3 will come with a 6.7-inch, 1440 x 3216 resolution display (525ppi) just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It will also use an adaptive refresh rate of 10Hz to 120Hz, and a maximum color range of 1.07 billion.

The OPPO Find X3 series adopts a rear four-camera design. It includes two of Sony’s new IMX766 sensors (50MP). One of these sensors is a wide-angle lens while the other is an ultra-wide-angle lens. It will also have a 13MP telephoto lens supporting 2x optical zoom and a special 3MP macro lens that can achieve 25x zoom.

In other respects, this phone is about 8 mm thick and 190 grams in weight. It also uses a curved screen design, curved ceramic glass, or frosted glass back. From the available information so far, this device will come in black and blue colour options. The company will also add a white version much later.
