iPhone SE Plus With A14 Chip Coming In The Second Half Of 2021

iPhone SE Plus

Apple launched a new generation of iPhone SE last year. Although the phone sports the same A13 chip as the iPhone 11 Pro, the performance is very strong. However, we should state that the market performance is not good due to the small screen.

Now, there is news that Apple will launch a new iPhone SE Plus model in the second half of this year. It will not only come with an upgraded processor but the screen size will get bigger.

As @aaple_lab reports, the iPhone SE Plus does not directly adopt the design of iPhone 8 Plus. The screen size is upgraded to 6.1 inches, but it still uses the physical Touch ID fingerprint recognition button. The back carries a 12MP single camera. The latter supports 6 portrait light effects, OIS (optical image stabilization) and intelligent HDR shooting.

Most importantly, the iPhone SE Plus will use the latest A14 processor. Thus, its hardware will be identical to the top flagship models.

In addition, the iPhone SE Plus will also add IP67 dust and water resistance. So now, it can resist solid objects such as dust and sand. It also supports at least 30 minutes of work in 15cm-1m water.

As for Price, the tipster said the iPhone SE Plus should come in two versions. The low version will cost $499, while the high version will cost $699. There will be three color options to choose from – black, red and white.

Apple A14 Bionic

In fact, prior to this, Tianfeng Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, said that the new iPhone SE will be able to reduce the overall price. Even that time, he said this smartphone will come with a 5.5-inch or 6.1-inch screen and continue to use an LCD Display. The speculations so far believe that it will use the same case as the iPhone XR or iPhone 8. Unfortunately, this will not be a 5G smartphone and will only support the 4G network. The main selling point of this device will probably be the A14 Bionic processor. The main goal of this handset is to compete with budget Chinese models.
