Realme will open thousands of stores around the world
Recently, Realme Founder and CEO Li Bingzhong shared an open letter on Weibo, in which he shared the company’s success and plans for further development this year.
Last year, Realme became the fastest growing mobile phone brand in the world; and in the fall the company surpassed 50 million smartphones sold. At the end of 2020, the company ranked seventh in terms of smartphone shipments.
The company currently sells its products in over 60 countries around the world. According to Counterpoint’s report, Realme is one of the top 5 brands in 12 markets worldwide. The company ranks first in the Philippines and has already climbed to fourth place in India.
Going forward, Realme will focus more on AIoT products that integrate artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things technologies. In addition, the company is actively working to expand its portfolio of smartphones with support for fifth-generation networks.
One of the most important things that Realme should do to noticeably strengthen its position in the market is that the company is finally starting to build a retail chain of stores. In the near future, the first flagship store will be opened; and in total the company plans to open thousands of branded stores around the world.
