The market of Android tablets may not be the most competitive nowadays. The fact is that Google OS does not have a big appeal for big-sized displays, in counterpart to iPadOS. Despite this, there are some Android OEMs that still bet on this segment and are getting positive results from it. Since there’s no much competition, the few players in this segment get all customers of this range. Samsung is among the leading players in the Android-Tablet side of the coin. The brand is constantly pushing new tablets to keep its portfolio alive and interesting. Earlier today, we saw rumors about a new Lite variant for the Galaxy Tab S7 series. Now, a mysterious Samsung Galaxy Tab has emerged on the Geekbench benchmark. Considering the specs, it’s not part of the S7 series. It will certainly hit an affordable price tag.
Samsung seems to be preparing a new wave of competitive tablets alongside its new mid-range smartphones. The newly spotted tablet should come for the low-end segment as it was found in Geekbench with the Helio P22T. The Helio P22 series brings eight Cortex-A53 cores which aren’t the best performing ARM-based cores right now. Still, it provides acceptable usability on basic apps.
