Samsung Brings 120Hz Refresh Rate Screen To Mid-Range Segment

Samsung’s A series smartphones are known as the best options in the traditional mid-range segment. And now, it turns out the company is going to bring more features usually seen in top-end models to smartphones from a lower category. One of such models is the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. Recently, we have begun getting more and more news concerning this phone. And today, sammobile reported that this phone will support a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Thus, we are dealing with the world’s first mid-ranger with such a high-refresh rate. Apart from this, the Galaxy A52 (4G) and Galaxy A72 phones will come with 90Hz refresh rate screens.

Well. Previously, we learned that the Galaxy A52 5G will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. The other two will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip.

In fact, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has entered the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The corresponding documents show it will have a hole-punch screen design. The back will come with a quad-camera with sensors placed in two vertical rows.

Other Features Of Galaxy A52 and A72

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 5G will use a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. The processor inside uses an 8nm process and integrates an X52 5G modem. It supports millimeter wave and sub-6GHz 5G networks. The phone will offer two memory options of 6GB and 8GB. There will also be a 4500mAh battery, which supports 15W fast charging. And it will run the Android 11 system.

As said, the Samsung Galaxy A72 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. But it’s expected to be Samsung’s first rear five-camera phone. The main sensor will have a 64MP resolution and support OIS. Thus, it will be the first Samsung Galaxy A handset with image stabilization. The phone will have a 6.7-inch hole-punch screen. The back will be made of glass, and it will still retain a 3.5mm headphone jack.
