Samsung is gearing up to launch two new versions of its most successful Galaxy A-series smartphones. The Galaxy A72 and Galaxy A52 will hit the market soon in 4G and 5G variants. The devices have leaked multiple times over the past few months, revealing their design and some of the key specifications. Last week, a report from SamMobile confirmed that both phones will come with a high-refresh-rate panel. Moreover, some of the specifications of the Galaxy A52 5G have been leaked. Today, a new leak reveals the Galaxy A72 4G variant in full glory, along with specifications and pricing.
The leak comes from the folks at WinFuture that have got their hands on high-quality press renders of the Galaxy A72 4G variant. As you can see in the images below, the Galaxy A72 4G loos identical to the 5G variant. However, it has a slightly bigger display – a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution.

Galaxy A72 4G leaked specifications
According to the source, the phone will bring a Quad-Camera array on the back. It will comprise a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto zoom lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Under the hood, the phone will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. The last year’s mid-range chipset will be paired with 6GB, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of Internal Storage. Unlike, Samsung’s recent flagships, the Galaxy A72 4G will bring a microSD card slot for further memory expansion.
The Samsung Galaxy A72 4G will reportedly draw its powers from a 5,000mAh battery. This battery is said to come with fast-charging support, although the exact technology isn’t mentioned here. We assume that it is coming with 25W fast-charging. The phone will also have an IP67 rating for dust and water protection. Other specs include a 32MP punch-hole camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Android 11 straight out of the box. Obviously, One UI 3.0 will be running on top.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the publication mentions that the Galaxy A72 4G price will start at €449 (~$544) for the basic model. It will come in at least four colorways. Unfortunately, we still don’t have an official launch date for the Samsung Galaxy A72 or Galaxy A52. According to rumors, Samsung will launch both phones as soon as the next month. Both phones will come in 4G and 5G variants.
