Galaxy A52 4G & 5G full specs, pricing, and images surface in the web

Samsung has started 2021 with style due to the Galaxy S21 series launch in mid-January. However, the brand has a lot more to come in the next few months. Two (or four if you prefer) or the most anticipated devices are the 2021-upgraded Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones. For those unaware, the Galaxy A5x and A7x series usually are the best-selling devices from Samsung. So, the company wants to make sure that the newer contenders will be able to carry this legacy forward. This year, the brand will unveil a total of four smartphones  – Galaxy A52 4G, Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy A72 4G, and Galaxy A72 5G.

Yesterday, we saw an extensive leak that revealed the Galaxy A72 4G full specifications. Today, it’s time for the Galaxy A52 4G and Galaxy A52 5G to make another appearance. After all, these devices have been leaking a lot in the past few months. Today, we get full specifications, press renders, and even an alleged price of the devices thanks to the folks at WinFuture. Samsung is keeping a low profile on the release of these new smartphones, but judging by the number of leaks popping out recently, we believe that the launch is imminent.

Samsung Galaxy A52 4G / 5G specifications

The Galaxy A52 4G and 5G passed by the Geekbench benchmark with the Snapdragon 720G and Snapdragon 750G, respectively. The new report corroborates that bit and claims that both handsets will run Android 11 straight out of the box. Each one of them will have two memory options depending on the market – 6GB of RAM with 128GB of Storage, or/and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of Storage. Both variants have a microSD card slot for further memory expansion. It’s a nice feature that is absent in the recently released Galaxy S21 smartphones.

The source further states that both handsets are identical in design. This means that both handsets will pack a 6.5-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with a fingerprint scanner underneath and a punch hole in the center. The cutout serves as a house for the 32MP selfie camera. Worth noting that the 4G variant is set to come with a 90Hz display, whereas the 5G variant will go all the way up to 120Hz.

The rear panels of the Galaxy A52 4G and 5G will come in four distinct colorways. The device will pack a Quad-Camera setup comprising a 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth sensor. Both handsets will draw power from 4,500mAh batteries with 25W fast-charging through the USB-C ports. Although they come with 25W fast-charging, this does not mean that the bundled charging brick will come with these capabilities. According to 3C, and FCC listings, the 5G model will ship with a 15W adapter. The handsets come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.x, NFC, Dual-SIM support, and IP67.

As far as the price is concerned, the report states that the Galaxy A52 4G will cost €349 ($422) in some European countries. The Galaxy A52 5G, on other hand, will cost €429.
