Not long ago, AMD unveiled its latest Ryzen 5000 mobile CPUs. Unfortunately, not many laptops are coming with these CPUs. Acer begs to differ today with the release of the Ryzen 5000 CPU-powered laptops under the Acer Aspire 7 gaming series. The company unveiled the new laptops today in India and it is already available for purchase via Acer online store and through e-commerce platform Flipkart. The laptop is being offered in two distinct configurations, although there is only one CPU option at the moment.
The Acer Aspire 7 is a basic entry-level gaming laptop since the specifications aren’t the most exciting out there. In fact, Acer’s own marketing material doesn’t mention anything about gaming on the new laptop and it comes with a straightforward design. For that reason, we’re not sure why is Acer pushing forward the “Gaming” moniker for Indian consumers. Technically, the laptops have enough power to handle most competitive e-sports games and a few AAA games at low settings at the very least. With this laptop, Acer can attract a set of gaming enthusiasts in India who are looking for an entry-level machine that is great for both work and a little bit of gaming.
