Realme ended 2020 as the world’s fastest-smartphone brand. This comes as a response to the company’s continuous investment in the mid-range market and also due to its involvement in the 5G expansion. Despite the ongoing pandemic, Realme managed to unveil a multitude of low-end, mid-range, and even high-end smartphones. Under its numbered series, the company managed to unveil two generations of smartphones last year, the Realme 6 series and the Realme 7 series. Now, a new report suggests that the brand is ready to move to the Realme 8 series.
The Realme 8 series unveiling makes perfect sense right now. After all, the Realme 6 and 6 Pro were unveiled during the first quarter of 2020. These devices usually come to compete with Redmi Note 10 series, which is scheduled for the next month. Hence, Realme isn’t interested in leaving much space for its biggest competitor.
